The Tree of Life in Norway 

 

 

The Tree of Life methodology, developed by Ncazelo Ncube (REPSSI) and David Denborough (Dulwich Centre Foundation), has now been used in many countries around the world.

 

Over time, we will add stories and accounts from workers and communities in Norway who are using the Tree of Life to respond to various forms of trauma and hardship.

The Tree of Life – The Forest of Life

Brit Selvik and Sidsel Ingunn Larsen, of the Robust foundation in Norway, had sometimes heard people say 'Naming troubles with too many words can make them worse!', which invited them to ponder questions such as 'Which ways are most helpful for talking about painful experiences? And for what period of time?' They found answers to these in using the Tree of Life approach.
