I have been trained in systemic approaches and solution oriented competencies, prior to being trained by Michael White. My wish is to contribute to develop narrative ideas in France, exchange and participate to an international "narrative web" with other practitioners to make it "thick". Twice a year we open a training session "Basis of Narrative practices". And, from 2004, we have also hosted every year, workshops with Michael White, Shona Russell and Sue Mann. We continue offering yearly workshops with different practitioners to develop Narrative practices in France. |

Prior to being trained by Michael White, my posture was client-centred and solution-oriented. Jean Louis' Narrative Counselling takes root in a humanist approach to therapy, modelled after and refined from years of training with Michael White, Shona Russel, Sue Mann and Rob Hall in Adelaide. He currently still collaborates with White's closest associates at the International Program in Paris.
Attentive and respectful, Jean Louis works alongside his clients to build self-awareness, and pave the way to new possibilities. Jean Louis' narrative therapy provides a useful means for both individuals and corporations to use their talents towards the realization of new potential.
Trained in narrative foundations, as well as in group and team coaching (Mediat Coaching), Jean Louis presents clients with a catalyst for self-revelation, as well as a non-threatening arena in which to explore the implications of their discoveries.
His guidance method, which draws largely from the work of Michael White, directs clients to exist beyond the confines of social mores, and choose instead to live of one's own accord.

As a business and HR consultant, I work with narrative ideas in the profit and non profit organizations around the themes of corporate identities, company communities, and the stories about work in the client's life in regard with dominant stories about success and performance. I was trained in France by Michael White, Shona Russell and Sue Mann and in Adelaide (Australia) in a wide range of workshops (David Epston, Stephen Madigan, Jill Freedman, Cheryl White, David Denborough). As a musician and songwriter, I am much influenced by David's work about the power of song. I am a founding member of the European Coaching Association and I wrote several book and articles on topics related to work and coaching. |
