Considerations of gender & culture in narrative practice Half day FREE workshop with Angel Yuen This free half day workshop will provide a forum in which to continue discussions that are represented in the book 'Conversations about gender, culture, violence & narrative practice: Stories of hope and complexity from women of many cultures' (edited by Angel Yuen and Cheryl White). Angel Yuen works with young women and young men in Toronto, one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. So many complexities and possibilities emerge in narrative practice when considerations of gendered and cultural meanings are prioritised. The complexities and possibilities will be the focus of this workshop. |
