My independent practice as psychologist includes therapeutic work, an extensive narrative therapy training and consultation programme as well as community work. I am committed to participation in the social transformation of a post-apartheid South Africa and am drawn to narrative therapy because of the way it takes into consideration the social and political context of people’s lives. I hope for an exchanging of ideas that will strengthen and expand my practice and collaboration with colleagues.  

I hold a Masters degree in Narrative Therapy  from the University of South Africa and a Masters Degree in Education from Nottingham University UK.  I am accredited as a Pastoral Therapist with the South African Association of Pastoral Workers.  I have developed two introductory courses in working with Narrative Ideas. 30 hours in the values of Narrative Ideas and 24 hours in the skills of Narrative Ideas. I have 15 years experience in Hospice work both in South Africa and overseas and 7 years experience leading a Pastoral Care Centre in a large Methodist Church. I am currently working as a freelance trainer and  therapist.
